Entering my 39th year as a Colon Hydrotherapist, I am finally beginning to slow down. It has been a great journey! Now I am focusing more on what matters in my eldering years: returning to my love of art, taking long walks with my dog, spending as much time as possible with my husband Paul, and deepening my connection to Self and Soul. I’m becoming more selfish and taking better care of myself, just as I have encouraged you to do throughout the years.
Colon Hydrotherapy continues to be one of my favorite ways for self-care. I was first introduced to this amazing therapy back in the 1970’s. I had moved to New York City to study art, yet found myself tangled up in the insanity of the place. Simply put, Colon Hydrotherapy saved my life by giving me a fresh start, a way to heal from unhealthy patterns.
Little did I know back in 1976 that I would become a pioneer in the field! I received my initial training in Boston, where I had a thriving practice for 24 years. I not only founded one of the first professional associations in the field, but also the New England School of Colon Hydrotherapy. A passion of mine has been to legitimize and legalize this work. Having sought to advance Colon Hydrotherapy in Massachusetts, my latest effort was helping to get a bill passed in Connecticut which allows us to practice freely under a Naturopath’s supervision. It’s hard to believe that I have been practicing in Connecticut for 14 years!
So, what does slowing down look like for me?
- I have reduced my hours of availability: Monday and Wednesday 10 AM to 7 PM, Tuesday and Thursday 8:30 AM to 2:30 PM., and the third Saturday of each month 8:30 AM to 2:30 PM.
- My rates have increased slightly to $130 a session or $345 for a series of 3.
- I plan to retire by my 70th birthday in the Spring of 2019. I encourage you to take the opportunity to see me while you can! How long has it been since I last saw you?
Another Colon Hydrotherapist is on the way! Olga Yurash Klein, who is currently completing her Advanced Training with me, will soon be available to see you in my office, not only for Colon Hydrotherapy but also Wellness Coaching. You may remember her from the Glastonbury office.
I thank you for trusting me throughout the years as your Colon Hydrotherapist, my favorite vehicle for accessing folks on a deeper level. I am grateful to have met so many amazing people along the way.
I hope to see you again! Please contact me at firstname.lastname@example.org or 860.287.4558 to make an appointment.
